Last week got a opportunity to photograph a wonderful wedding in Melbourne. During the assignment got a chance to see a Erhu player performing and it was breathtakingly wonderful. Since it was the first time I got a chance to see such a performance of this unique fiddle like instrument often referred to as the chinese violin, thought I should share it on my blog.
I assume it should be really difficult to play this instrument to perfection considering the fact that it has only two strings and couldn’t find any markings on the strings, so its played with the “sound of ear” markings. Sharing few photos from the wedding reception with the Erhu player performing and I will soon share her contact information on this blog for anyone interested to hire the musician for their parties or events in Melbourne. Stay tuned!
